Grace W. Myers

Grace W. “Jackie” Myers, 75, Macomb, Ill., formerly of Indiana, died Sunday at McDonough District Hospital, Macomb.

Born in Bonanza, Ky., she was the daughter of John Wesley and Mahala Susan (Stanley) Music. She married Jimmie Joe Myers on July 22, 1954. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2007.

She worked at Bridgestone Firestone in Noblesville. She was a Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include a son, Gregory Myers, Macomb; three grandchildren; two sisters, Cynthia Mae Frasure, Kentucky, and Mary Kathryn Gibson, Ohio; and a brother, Samuel Earl Music, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Flossy Ellen Harmon, Hazel Allene Howell and Mable Goldia Frazier and brothers Raymond Hargus Music, Warren G. Music, Alford Music, Ermine Dennis Music and Marvin Music.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. (CDT) Wednesday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home, Macomb, with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb.

Visitation is 6:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorial may be made to the Macomb Prep Baseball League.
