Timothy Scott Deaton, 21, Lafayette, formerly of Crawfordsville, died Saturday at Lafayette.

Born in Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., he was the son of Gerald and Peggy (Sewell) Deaton.

A 2004 graduate of Crawfordsville High School, he was a member of Browns Valley Christian Church.

Surviving are his father, Greencastle; mother Peggy Cook and husband Timothy, Crawfordsville; grandparents Leonard and Delores Sewell, Crawfordsville, and grandmother Dorlis Deaton, Greencastle.

He was preceded in death by brother Benjimin Sewell Deaton.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Machledt and Servies Funeral Home, Waveland, with Rev. David Brock officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery South.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
