Teresa A. (Knever) Keck, 54, Greencastle, died Saturday morning at her residence.

Born in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of Charles Joseph and Ginneve M. Knever.

A 1971 graduate of Rosedale High School, she graduated from Alvin Community College in Texas with a degree in chemistry. She worked as a lab technician at Quest Diagnostics Clinical Lab in Houston, Texas, and previously at CBS Records in Terre Haute for nine years. She was a member of Friendswood United Methodist Church in Texas.

She married Howard Keck on March 20, 1982. He survives.

Also surviving are a son, Matthew Keck, Houston; two stepsons, Jason Keck and wife Julie, Galveston, Texas, and Darrell Keck and wife Mary, Greencastle; sister Sandi Layman and husband Tom, Terre Haute; brother Gordon Forte and wife Arlene, Terre Haute; two stepgrandchildren and a niece and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Charles Edward and Richard Allen Knever.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will be at noon Wednesday at Chapel of Memories at Roselawn Cemetery, Terre Haute.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.
