Rosemary Duncan
Rosemary Duncan 87, Ladoga, died Tuesday at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born at Advance, she was the daughter of John H. and Iva Johns Plunkett.
A 1938 graduate of Ladoga High School, she was a secretary and teacher's aid at Ladoga School for 40 years. She was a contributing writer for more than 25 years for the Journal-Review, Montgomery Magazine, The Weekly, and The Paper of Montgomery County. She was selected to be inducted into the South Montgomery Community Schools Dollars for Scholars Hall of Fame this year. She was a member of Ladoga Presbyterian Church.
She married Robert T. Duncan on June 15, 1940 at Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1984.
Surviving are two sons David Duncan and wife Melanie, Rockville, and Steve Duncan and wife Evelyn, Ladoga, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, four stepgreat-grandchildren, and a step-great greatgrandchild
Preceding her in death were her husband Robert, daughter Gaildene Hamilton, four brothers Charles, Doc, Harry and John Plunkett.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ladoga Presbyterian Church with Rev. Edwin Lacy officiating. Burial will be at Ladoga Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, 203 N. Washington St., Ladoga.
