SP wrestlers compete at Brownsburg

South Putnam Wrestling opened its season at the Brownsburg High School Invitational this past Saturday. The Eagles were victorious over Indy Washington and Fishers. They were 2-3 on the day suffering losses to Brownsburg, Plainfield, and Zionsville.

Wrestlers posting winning records for the day were Logan Kinney (4-1), Josh Sanders (4-1), Ben Parker (3-1), and Antonio Hernandez (3-2).

The team wrestled very well and now have until the Nov. 29 to prepare for their first home meet of the season against Rockville followed by the Monrovia Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 1st.
