North Putnam boys defeat CMS

The North Putnam Middle School boys' basketball squad defeated Cloverdale, 32-23 Monday night.

The Cougars took advantage of the Clovers in the second quarter and outscored CMS 14-3, to grab a halftime lead of 23-12.

Leading the way for the Cougars was Payne Stewart with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Jacob Lewis recorded nine points and seven rebound in the contest.

Travis Franklin chipped in five points. Garrett Porter added nine, and Jared Fordice contributed four points and six boards.
