Organizers and participants in the Fun Run for Casa are (front, from left) Judi Scheer of CASA, PCYDC director Linda Merkle, Charity Pankratz of CASA, Theta member Katie Schmelzer (back row) Sarah McMahon and Kathryn Hyde of Theta, CASA director Patti Harmless, Carol Emery of the PCYDC board, Lucy Wieland of CASA and Carrie Query of CASA and PCYDC board.

More than 100 runners showed enthusiasm and energy as the Alpha Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at DePauw University conducted its second annual 5K Fun Run for CASA.

Informational signs about CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, were displayed throughout the 5K race, which started at Blackstock Stadium and continued through the DePauw Nature Park. The donations raised from the race will benefit the Putnam County Youth Development Commission CASA Program, the official philanthropy of Kappa Alpha Theta since 1989.

Kathryn Hyde, the philanthropy chairperson for Kappa Alpha Theta, was pleased with the participation and stated, "We would not have been able to see such success without the help of Kate Frankenberg, the Theta Service Deputy and every member of Theta."

Hyde was also appreciative of the community donations from, Extreme Tanning, Greek's Pizza, Eitel's Flowers, Dairy Castle, and La Charreada.

The Putnam County Youth Development Com-mission CASA Program is grateful and proud of the financial support and hard work that Kappa Alpha Theta has shown for CASA. For more information about the CASA Program, contact Patti Harmless at 653-9342.
