GMS eighth grade in action

The Greencastle eighth-grade boys' basketball A team lost to Danville, 34-29 Monday night.

Nick Hutcheson lead the Tiger Cubs with 13 points, with Hunter Mitchell and Trevor Huber adding six points. Hank Spencer and Dustin Law contributed two points each.

In B team action, Greencastle lost to Danville 32-14.

Nolan Sappenfield scored 10 points, with Ryan Battin and Brad Boyers adding two points each.

On Monday, Greencastle eighth-grade boys' basketball team defeated Cloverdale 31-18.

Hutcheson lead the Tiger Cubs with eight points, with Huber adding seven points. Law scored six points and Spencer added five.

Kaden Faust and Mitchell contributed two points and Brad Haussin added one point.

For the Clovers, Trevor Lockwood was top scorer with eight points, while Mitch Williams scored six. Chuck Strunk contributed three points, Donnie Sandusky added two and Jordan Brinkman chipped in one point.

GMS will travel to Tri-West at 5:30 p.m. today.
