Cougar freshmen defeat Mustangs

The North Putnam freshman boys' squad defeated Fountain Central 45-24 Thursday.

Travis Franklin lead the way for the Cougars with 15 points. Jacob Lucas scored 10 points, with Payne Stewart and Josh Hunt adding six points each.

The Cougars will travel to Southmont at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
