Emezire "Bud" Andrew Curtis

Emezire "Bud" Andrew Curtis, 88, Stilesville, died Wednesday at The Waters of Greencastle.

Born in Morgan County, he was the son of Edgar and Iva (Bryant) Curtis.

He was owner and operator of Curtis Garage and Wrecker Service in Little Point. He and his wife operated Curtis Grocery and Garage for 25 years. He retired from the wrecker service after 25 years, and had driven a school bus for Eminence Schools for 54 years. He was a member of Amity Baptist Church.

He married Wilma "Sis" Pauline Clearwater on Nov. 13, 1940. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Linda Shupe and husband Kenny, Stilesville, and Pam Curtis, Stillesville; son Larry Curtis and wife Pamela, Morgantown; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Alma Curtis.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Rev. C. Robert Fine officiating. Burial will be in Stilesville Cemetery.

Visitation is noon-3 p.m. Saturday
