Cloverdale wrestles at WeBo

THORNTOWN -- Cloverdale wrestling went 2-3 at Saturday's WeBo Challenge at Western Boone High School, defeating Clinton Prairie 66-15 and Crawfordsville 42-40.

The Clovers fell to Western Boone, Tri-West and Frankfort.

Lee Secrest and Ben Sanders had the best days for the Clovers, with Secrest going 5-0 with five pins at 160 pounds and Sanders going 5-0 with two pins at 135.

Brittney Hughes was just behind, going 4-1 at 103.

Four other Clovers picked up three match wins each. Zach Waycott was 3-1 with one pin at 145. Todd Rightmyer was 3-2 with two pins at 152. Jacob Thompson was 3-2 with one pin at 175, while Josh Batchelor was also 3-2 with one pin at 285.
