NP grapplers win on road

ROCKVILLE -- The North Putnam wrestling team traveled to Rockville Tuesday, walking away with the win 66-18.

Recording first period pins for the Cougars were Madison McClellan at 140, B.J. Brewer at 152, Alex Lance at 171 and Jim Davis at 189.

Bren Donaldson at 130, Keegan Foltz at 135 and Josh Keyt at 215 defeated their opponents with second period pins on the evening.

The Cougars had four wrestlers receiving wins by forfeit. Tyler Ruble won the 103 and Andrew Schwarz won the 112 due to forfeit, as did Brock Daley at 119 and Kenny Quisenberry in the 145 weight class.

The Cougars will next compete in the WCC meet at Cloverdale at 9 a.m. Saturday.
