Man arrested for child molesting
A Coatesville man was arrested this week on charges that he molested a 13-year-old girl last year.
Indiana State Police arrested 31-year-old Gregory Eugene Howard on charges of child molesting and vicarious sexual gratification.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Howard offered to give the girl a ride home from church but did not take the girl directly home. Police alleged Howard stopped his car on the side of a rural road and sexually molested the girl in addition to exposing himself to the girl.
On Nov. 20, 2007, Howard was interviewed by police where he reportedly denied the allegations.
On Dec. 12, 2007, Howard was again interviewed and according to the police report, admitted to touching the girl's private area several times.
He was being held in the Putnam County Jail.
