Florence E. Patterson

Florence E. Patterson, 84, Brazil, died Tuesday at Union Hospital.

Born in Brazil, she was the daughter ofWilliam and Ella (Darting) Love.

She graduated from Brazil High School. In her younger years, she worked for Modern Cleaners in Brazil.

She married John L. "Pat" Patterson, who preceded her in death. She is survived by children Johnna Kayler and husband Robert, Rockville, Jane Ann Heaton and husband Bob, Terre Haute, Janette Rose and husband Don, and Bob Patterson and wife Michel, Terre Haute; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Wilma Love and Marguerite Thornberry, and an infant daughter Kay Ellen Patterson

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lawson-Miller Chapel, Brazil, with Pastor Ron Bontrager officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
