Carol Mae Fordice

Carol Mae Fordice, 75, Russellville, died Thursday at Putnam County Hospital.

She was born in Indianapolis and graduated from Brownsburg High School. She married Tom Fordice on Dec. 31, 1962 at Russellville and he preceded her in death on April 2, 1967.

She was a cook for Steel City Marine Transport for 18 years and was a member of Russellville Community Church.

Survivors include five sons, John Wagers, Waveland, Scott Fordice, Tangier, Richard Wagers, Lafayette, Tom B. Fordice II, Tangier, and Fred H. Fordice II, Russellville; two daughters, Karen S. Myers, Rockville, and Crystal Lee Long, Crawfordsville; 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Machledt and Servies Funeral Home, Waveland, with Rev. Kathy Elliot officiating. Burial will follow at Russellville Cemetery.

Visitation is noon until service time Monday at the funeral home.
