Charles William Alexander

Charles William Alexander, 74, Heltonville, formerly of Greencastle, died Dec. 2, 2007.

He was born and raised in Greencastle and worked for Lonestar Cement Company for more than 45 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served at the end of the Korean War Conflict. He was in Korea for more than a year and he belonged to the VFW, American Legion and the Moose Lodge in Greencastle.

He lived in Indianapolis for several years and then moved to Heltonville.

Survivors include three daughters, Bonnie Eiteljorge, of Indiana, and Cheri and Leeann Alexander of Nevada; three sisters, Wanda Harvey, Greencastle, Madelyn Nauman, Fillmore, and Judy Dreher, Muncie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ray Alexander and sisters Betty Arnold Stack and Waneta Mager.
