NPMS swimmers fall

CLAYTON -- The North Putnam Middle School swim team lost a pair to Cascade Wednesday, with the girls falling 107-73 and the boys losing 88-81.

Haley Foltz won the 50 free for the Cougars. Caroline Byrd claimed victory in the 100 IM. Molly Wilcox won the 100 breaststroke.

The 200 free relay team of Foltz, Wilcox, Byrd and Michelle Harper also won.

For the boys, Alex Logan won both the 100 free and 100 breaststroke. Jared James was first in the 200 free, while Zach Moore won diving. Joey Lehr was victorious in the 100 backstroke.

The medley and sprint relay teams of Lehr, Jacob Hendershot, James and Logan won both events.
