DePauw hosting two rounds of NCAA

The 25-3 and seventh-ranked DePauw women's basketball team opens NCAA Division III Championship play on Friday, when it hosts Denison University in a first-round game at 7 p.m.

The other first-round matchup is between Washington University in St. Louis and Wilmington College and tips off at 5 p.m. The winners meet in Saturday's 7 p.m. second round game for the right to advance to the sectional round.

Tickets are available at the gate beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday for the first round game and at 6 p.m. on Saturday for the second round contest.

The Tigers won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship Sunday with a 72-69 win over Oglethorpe in the SCAC tournament title game.

DePauw's appearance in the national tournament is their fifth straight, sixth in the last seven years and ninth overall.
