Russellville eyes street repairs
The streets of Russellville are about to get a makeover.
At the regular town council meeting Wednesday evening, Council President Don Reddish reported that the town has purchased 30 tons of cold patch from Milestone in Lafayette. This is on top of the additional cold patch that was from the county in the sum of 4 tons.
Repairs are planned for later this spring.
In other business:
* A fireproof file cabinet was purchased for the town for $350.
* The Community Center contract has been signed and is good for another year.
* Mike Varvel, town water superintendent, is donating his services to repair an antique wooden clock in Town Hall.
