David McKamey

David Bradley Elmore McKamey, 37, died Feb. 25, 2008 at the Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was a former resident of Cloverdale.

Born in Greencastle, he was the son of David and Pamela Sue (Haltom) Elmore. He was later adopted by Ronald McKamey.

A 1988 graduate of Cloverdale High School, he later earned an associate's degree from Indiana State University with a concentration in music. He lived several years in the Richmond, Va. area and was employed by Bob Evans Farms Inc. in Myrtle Beach S.C. for the past several years.

Survivors include father, David Elmore and wife Joan Castle-Elmore, siblings David Douglas, Angela and Gabrielle Elmore, father Ronald McKamey, grandfather Dale Haltom and wife Karen, grandparents Calvin and Jean McKamey, great-grandmother Ila Bea Allen, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his mother Pamela Haltom Bauer, grandmother Barbara Allen Haltom, grandparents Raymond and Dorothy Elmore, great grandparents Jim and Dorothy Haltom, great-grandfather Ed Allen.
