DPU men's golf finishes fifth at Camp Lejeune

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. -- DePauw shot a three-round 909 and finished fifth at the Camp Lejeune Scarlet tournament. Averett won with an 896 followed by California (Pa.) at 897, Reinhardt at 906 and Lynchburg with 907.

Danny Stetson finished second with a 219, while Jake Walsh tied for 30th at 230 and Chase King was tied for 35th with a 231. Joey Piatek shot a 234 and finished 45th with Peter Haller rounding out the Tigers with a 238 good for a tie for 54th.

The Tigers will compete in the Big Four Classic at Crooked Stick on Thursday.
