Thelma Maxine Thomas, 75, Avon Park, Fla., died Sunday in Sebring, Fla.

Born in Gosport, she was the daughter of David and Pearl Susan (Connley) Jent. She had been a resident of Avon Park since 1993, coming from Greenwood, Ind.

She was a real estate broker and a past member of the National Association of Realtors and the State of Indiana Association of Realtors. She was a member of Highlands Ridge Golf and Country Club and attended Union Congregational Church in Avon Park.

Survivors include her daughters, Connie Cooper and husband Kent, Greencastle, and Melissa Scott and husband John, Clermont, Fla.; a son, Dennis L. Thomas and wife Linda, Indianapolis; sisters, Edrice Baker, Bloomington, and Eunice Ash, Billings, Mont.; a brother, Dallas Jent, Buckingham County, Va.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Private Memorial Services were held.

Memorials may be made to either The American Arthritis Foundation or The American Heart Association.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, Fla.
