Calita Job, Mitchell, formerly of Quincy, died Saturday, April 5 at her residence.

Born in Owen County, she was the daughter of Victor Cleveland Black and Vlora Mae (Smith) Black who preceded her in death.

She was a retired elementary teacher from Cloverdale Elementary and Ridpath Elementary schools and was the postmaster at Quincy.

She was a member of Quincy Baptist Church, O.E.S. No. 151, Ivanhoe Chapter, Gosport, the Indiana Retired Teachers Association and was a graduate of Indiana State Teachers College and DePauw University.

She married Glen Job in 1937. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Whiting, Indianapolis, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 11 at 2 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home with Rev. Perry Mager officiating.

Visitation is Friday, April 11 from noon until service time at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Burial will follow in Cloverdale Cemetery.
