The Greencastle baseball team lost to Cascade twice this week, falling 4-2 on Monday and 3-2 on Tuesday.

On Monday at Cascade, the Tiger Cubs jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the third on RBI by Kendall Faust and Blake Robinson.

However, a 4-run sixth inning for the Cadets did them in.

Jeremy Hayden and Keegan Remsburg each had two hits for the GHS offense.

Details weren't available for Tuesday's game.

On Monday, the junior varsity defeated the Cadets 10-1 on a six-inning no-hitter by Thomas Decker.

Decker had eight strikeouts in the win.

Tanner Battin went 3-for-4 in the win. Nataniel Valasquez, Patrick Richardson, Tyler Rickenbaugh and Steven Miller all picked up hits.

The junior varsity (4-0) is back in action at 5 p.m. today against Cloverdale.

The varsity returns to the field at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at South Vermillion.
