Wanda Mae Rogers, 68, of Greencastle, passed away at 8:32 p.m., May 13, 2008 following an extended battle with cancer.

She was born in Clay City, April 9, 1940 to Marion and Francis Cochran Love.

Wanda worked for various nursing homes as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She also worked as a cashier and sales associate for Wal-Mart stores in Greencastle and Brazil. Wanda's greatest source of enjoyment was in spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Glenn Rogers, and two brothers Jerry and John Love.

Survivors include three sons: Bob Phelps and wife Mary of Brazil, Earl Minnick of Knightsville, and William Minnick of Michigan City; three step-children Michael Rogers, Keith Rogers, and Nancy Gibson all of Greencastle; grandchildren Robert Phelps Jr., Amber Nelson and husband Robert, Renee Minnick, Cheryl Harris and husband J.D., and Brittany Phelps; nine great-grandchildren; and three siblings: Mary Margaret Rhoderick, Marjorie Rogers, and James Love as well as many nieces nephews and extended family members.

Services for Mrs. Rogers will be at French Funeral Home, Saturday May 16, 2008 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Sink Cemetery.
