Genevieve Greeson

Genevieve Greeson, 91, of Clayton, passed away Sunday, June 15 at Henricks Regional Health in Danville.

She was born on June 12, 1917 in Clayton to Stacy and Alice (Williams) Lambert.

She married Wallace L. Greeson and he preceded her in death in 1999.

Mrs. Greeson worked as secretary-bookkeeper for the Amo Elevator and as a cashier for the Amo Grocery. She was a member of the Clayton Christian Church and the Hendricks County Home Economics Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Alice Davidson of Clayton and Jeanette Frederick of English, Ind.; sister Frieda Oursler of Belleville; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville. Burial will be at the Amo Cemetery.

Calling will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
