CLOVERDALE -- On Saturday, June 28, the Cloverdale Farmers' Market will open.

Cloverdale Main Street, host for the Market, is making available their lot at the corner of East Logan and Lafayette to allow for a broader offering of goods. The large lot allows for easier access to the Market, as well as increasing the space for vendors.

The 2008 Market will accept vendors offering their crafts and arts along with the locally grown garden produce.

The lot, one block east of 231 on Logan Street, offers ample parking for the patron.

Cloverdale Main Street has hosted the Farmers Market for 10 years and set-up for the Market continues to be free.

Market hours are 7:30 a.m. to noon.

Fundraising of baked goods is limited to Cloverdale clubs, school and churches.

Produce must be locally grown. Corn, melons, cantaloupe, and fruits are the exception. Flea market items are not allowed.

Vendors are responsible for their own tables, umbrellas or canopies.
