Planning Dept. on the move

Beginning Monday, July 14, the Putnam County Planning Department will have new offices in the County Annex located in Room 3 at 209 W. Liberty Street, Greencastle.

The office will be open regular hours between now and the move and will be open for business as usual on Monday. Office hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. They are closed from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch.

The Greencastle Township Trustee will be moving into the vacated Planning Department office on the main floor of the courthouse. The Putnam County Prosecutor will be taking over the Township Trustee space.

  • Sounds like good move. Move the planning department to where no one can find them 'cause there's precious little planning that seems to go on here.
