Bessie Richardson

Bessie T. Richardson, 75, of Greencastle, passed away Tuesday, July 8 at Hickory Creek at Sunset in Greencastle.

Born June 17, 1933, in Hancock, Tenn., she was the daughter of Charles and Elsie Johnson Kinsler.

She was a homemaker and the wife of 51 years of Gene Richardson.

Other survivors include sons, Larry Richardson and wife Cathy, of Greencastle, and Jerry Richardson and wife Carol, of Palm Bay. Fla.; grandchildren, Ryan Richardson and companion Cristina Tincher, of Greencastle, Vanessa Richardson, of Tampa, Fla., Lauren Richardson, of Palm Bay, Fla.; brothers, Curt Kinsler and wife Mary, of Tennessee, Darrel "Rock" Kinsler and wife Sharon, of Tennessee, Adrian Kinsler and wife Sherry, of Tennessee, Hobert Kinsler, of Tennessee, Wayne Kinsler and wife Linda, of Bloomfield; sisters, Wanda Maness and husband Kenny, of Tennessee, Virginia Odom and husband Charles, of Tennessee, Edith Nichols and husband Clayton, of Brownsburg; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Irene Kinsler.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Chandler-Hays Funeral Home, Greencastle, with calling from 4-8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle.
