Brenda Malone and Dorothy French of Breni's Garden will talk about daylilies Saturday at the Cloverdale Farmers' Market.

CLOVERDALE -- A versatile flower for every garden is the daylily.

This Saturday, July 19, at 9 a.m., the Cloverdale Farmers' Market will offer a presentation on daylilies.

Brenda Malone and Dorothy French of Breni's Garden will talk about the care and division of the plant as well as many other 'tips' concerning these hardy flowers.

Having over 550 varieties of daylilies to choose from at Breni's Garden, Malone and French will have a variety of daylilies available for purchase at the Farmers' Market.

From spiders to doubles to miniatures (and more), the ladies will share their expertise with the public on the 19th.

Away from the Farmers' Market, Malone and French invite the public to view the many varieties of daylilies in their garden. Located at 4847 E. U.S. Highway 40, Breni's Garden hours are 5-8 p.m. or by appointment by calling 765-526-2406.

With over 550 varieties of daylilies to choose from, the flower enthusiast may have a difficult time selecting that one perfect plant.

The Cloverdale Farmers Market is held at East Logan and Lafayette (one block off 231) on Saturdays. The Market is open at 7:30 a.m. Setup is free to vendors.
