Putnam County 4-H Fair activities kicked into high gear Friday with a parade. The entry by the Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce took first place float honors, and local veteran Richard Burkett was the grand marshal. Members of the Bainbridge Saddle Club carries an American flag in keeping with the parade's them of "Sharing the American Spirit." 4-H Fair Queen Contest Miss Congeniality Megan Criss and Miss Putnam County Cheryl Mitchel appeared, as did Queen's Court members Ashley Doyle, Caitlyn Croan, Jessica Robinson and Whitney Warren and all other queen contestants.
