Missing man did not drown

HERITAGE LAKE -- A man thought to have disappeared in the waters of Heritage Lake late Saturday or early Sunday was later found alive and unhurt.

Dive teams from Floyd Township, in addition to other nearby agencies, searched through the darkened water near the boat dock for some time for the man who was reported missing about an hour after being seen attaching a cover to a boat in the lake.

The search was called off Sunday morning after the man was located away from his boat.
