Varsity starters for Cloverdale were seniors Kristin McCammon, Maria Skiles, Allie Franklin, Whitney Bond. Elizabeth Cheatham; and Alesha Evans.

In game one, the Lady Clovers came out strong and took an early lead. Several players including Elizabeth Cheatham, Whitney Bond, Allie Franklin, and Kristin McCammon were effective at the net. Kayla Shepherd was also a big part of the Lady Clovers' game play from the back row. The Vikings had a number of errors that turned into points for the Lady Clovers. The Lady Clovers won the game 25-12.

In game two, the Lady Clovers began with a strong service series by Kaileigh Sparks that gave the Clovers a 7-1 lead over the Vikings. The Lady Clovers' front row was also a big factor in this game. The Vikings were able to slow the Lady Clovers' lead by their serving but there was no stopping the Lady Clovers. Kristin McCammon was able to seal the deal with an impressive service that led to the end of the game with a win for the Lady Clovers 25-14.

Game three was the most exciting of the night due to a number of long volleys and tied scores. Maria Skiles helped Cloverdale to a 4-1 lead while serving. Whitney Bond was very effective at the net. West Vigo was able to bring the game to an 8-8 tie by monopolizing on errors by Cloverdale and their own serving skills. Then later in the game another tie came, this time it was 13-13, then it was 15-15. West Vigo would not surrender to the Clovers. Kaileigh Sparks' serving along with good communication and great teamwork, the Clovers were able to come to a 19-16 lead. The Clovers went on to win the game 25-20 after another series of long volleys.

Head coach Kathy Moore was pleased with the way her team played tonight. "We had better net play than we had in our last game. The girls did a really good job trying to set the ball up. As a results, we had a lot of kills tonight. We are still missing serves that we shouldn't be missing. But I felt that the girls played really together and it was nice to get some subs in there."

The Clovers are now 3-1. They will travel to Crawfordsville on Saturday at 9 a.m.
