Thomas sets bike tour

Tentatively, if the weather permits, Indiana State Rep. Amos Thomas (R-Brazil) is planning to ride his tour bike through District 44. The three rides, scheduled to start at 11 a.m., are planned for:

* Sat., Sept. 13: Thomas plans to ride north from Fillmore to Heritage Lake and Groveland, then west to Bainbridge, north to Roachdale and end at Russellville,

* Sat., Sept. 20: Thomas plans to start his ride southeast from the Greencastle Wal-Mart parking lot to Belle Union, southwest to Cloverdale and then back north to United States 40 and west to Reelsville, and then

* Sat., Sept. 27: Thomas plans to ride south from Marshall, Ind., to Brazil so he can arrive in time for the local K-Day Parade at 2 p.m.

  • Good luck, neat idea, not sure how practicle, but neat. As long as he completes the routes, he gets my vote.
