Tiger Cubs lose to Terre Haute South in three games
The Greencastle volleyball team lost in three rough games to an athletic Terre Haute South team Wednesday, 25-7, 25-9, 25-11.
Coach Trish Lowe pulled no punches after the match. Terre Haute South is a large school and it fielded a very talented team that overwhelmed the Tiger Cubs (2-14, 0-2 WCC).
"We got beat by a much better team than us. We must get stronger, quicker and taller," Lowe said.
Mallory Miller led the Tiger Cubs with 15 digs and 10 assists. Brooke Lewis picked up five kills. Jordyn Lewis led the way with three points. Chelsea Samuels had nine blocks.
The JV also lost to the Braves, 25-4, 25-8.
Greencastle hosts West Vigo at 6 p.m. today.
