DePauw women's cross country claims sixth straight SCAC title
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Paced by Lauren Reich's second-place finish DePauw totaled 49 points and won its sixth straight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship.
Reich covered the 6K course in 21:37 and finished behind Rhodes' Taylor Stephens who won in 21:30.
Alison Case was sixth in 22:22, while Ellen Mail placed 10th in 22:54 and Leah Seigel rounded out the all-conference finishers with a 13th place showing in 23:11.
Julie Theibert finished 18th in 23:41 followed by Melissa Buckley in 23:44 and Alana DeWitt in 20th in 23:45.
DePauw competes in the regional meet on November 15.
Tiger men finish third
DePauw totaled 75 points and finished third at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships. Centre won with 38 points, while Colorado College was third with 72.
Zach Weinberg finished fifth in 26:04, while Nathan Ellis was the Tigers' other all-conference runner in ninth in 26:21.
Steve Clark finished 15th in 26:51 followed by Joe Evans in 22nd in 27:11, Eric Hawley in 24th in 27:14, Nate Kober in 32nd in 27:44 and Nick Pucillo in 34th in 27:47.
Centre's Chase Wilson won in 25:35.
DePauw competes in the regional meet on November 15.
