Signups announced for Putnam Pain Wrestling Club

The Putnam Pain Wrestling Club will be holding signups on Nov. 11 and 13 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and on Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to noon at the North Putnam Middle School commons area.

Putnam Pain is a wrestling club for kids ages pre-K through eighth grade at any skill level. The club will focus on takedowns, escapes, reversals and pinning combinations.

There will be two types of club memberships available. ISWA cost for the season will be $45 and include a club T-shirt and competitor's card. For first and second year wrestlers the HYWA membership is recommended. For $25 the wrestler will receive a club T-shirt and competitor's card. There is also a discount for multiple children.

The Club will meet two times per week from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The first session is on Nov. 24 with the second session taking place on Dec. 1.
