NP freshman defeats Monrovia

MONROVIA -- The North Putnam boys freshmen basketball team traveled to Morgan County to take on the Monrovia Bulldogs Monday night.

The Cougars won in a close game 38-34.

Scoring for North Putnam was Tim Wildermood, who led all scorers with 16 points. Next was Jacob Muse with 10 points. Jacob Lucas scored eight points. And Quade Snyder and Nathan Crosby finished the scoring off with two points each.

The Cougars will play again today versus Fountain Central starting at 6:30 p.m.
