Gas still overpriced at exit

Tuesday, December 23, 2008

To the editor:

A few weeks ago I submitted a letter to your opinion column on the gouging price of gas at the three gas stations at the Interstate 70 Cloverdale/Greencastle Exit.

Update: On November 26, the per-gallon cost for gas at the exits east and west of this exit was $1.59 to $1.65, while at the BP station the price was $1.89, 24 to 30 cents more per gallon.

As usual, customers are being gouged by these 3 stations, but in particular citizens who live in the area. I for one will never stop at this exit unless it is an emergency. You folks who live in this area -- Why not refuse to patronize these 3 gas stations; perhaps they will get the word?
