Lorene Lydia Wolf

Lorene Lydia Wolf, 91, died on Monday, Jan. 19, 2009.

She was born in Owen County Sept. 4, 1917 to Peter and Myrtle Smith Thomas. On Nov. 26, 1942 she married Robert Mitchell Wolf.

Mrs. Wolf taught for 33 years at Patricksburg, Clay City and Coal City Elementary Schools. She attended First United Church of Christ and taught Bible school and Sunday school.

She is survived by her daughter Sue Crafton and husband Chris of Greencastle; grandchildren Kit Crafton and wife Adrielle, Kevin Crafton and fiancé Ashely Browning, Traver Wolf and wife Paige and Tara Secrest and husband Joe; great grandchildren Elyssa Secrest and Noah Crafton; and daughter-in-law Beth Wolf.

She was preceded by her parents Peter and Myrtle Thomas; husband Robert Wolf and son Tom Wolf.

Services will be at Schoppenhorst Funeral home Saturday at 4 p.m. with Pastor Julie Western officiating. Calling will be Saturday from 2 p.m. until time of service.
