CMS opens with loss

The Cloverdale seventh grade girls' basketball team opened their 2009 season with a loss at North Clay last night.

Addy Freeland led the Clovers with six points, nine rebounds and two steals, with Alycia Cooper added two points, one rebound, two steals and a block. Heather Goss, Megan Helterbrand and Beka Jordan got into the scoring as well.

Cloverdale will travel to Eminence on Tuesday.
