Cloverdale sixth grade hoopsters in action

The sixth grade Cloverdale boys basketball team picked up a win Monday night knocking off Eminence 32-25.

After trailing by six in the half, the Clovers rallied back for the win. Brantson Sharp led the Clovers with a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Also chipping in on the win was Rylan Mattocks who had four points and two rebounds, Colton Wilkes who had six points and two rebounds and Derek Noon who had four points and 13 rebounds. Tyler Lotz had four points, while Freddie Fislar had two points in the win.

The Clovers play their last game on Monday when the travel to Owen Valley.

On Saturday, the Cloverdale sixth grade boys finished 1-1 at the Clover Invitational. The Clovers fell to North Putnam 41-30, but rebounded to defeat Patricksburg 38-17.

Against The Cougars, Sharp led the way with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Mattocks and Wilkes had four points and two rebounds, while Noon added 12 rebounds and three points. Fislar had three points; Jake Roach and Clayton Bird scored two points each.

Sharp once again led the charge against Patricksburg along with Kyle Leach with nine points. Sharp also collected nine rebounds. Byrd scored eight points and two rebounds, while Mattocks had six points and two rebounds. Noon scored four points and Freddie Fislar chipped in two points.
