GMS boys place fourth

The Greencastle boys' sixth grade AAU team recently completed their season by finishing two games away from the State Finals, losing to Plainfield in the Franklin Regional. The boys finished fourth in their Indy Hoops South Division this season with only Class 4A schools finishing ahead of the Tiger Cubs.

On the season, Greencastle beat seven 4A schools. They received numerous comments from opposing coaches and fans that were impressed with their teamwork, defense, and the energy they played with.

The members of the team were sixth graders Carl Basile, Brody Bollman, Jared Bridges, Adam Gerard, Anthony Mitchell, Tanner Nicholson, Zach Secrest and Lane Winslow. The fifth graders on the team were Ryan Coble and Brandon Gierke.
