Putnam County Jail

Georgia Johnson, 57, Coatesville, was booked into the Putnam Jail at 12:51 a.m. Saturday for domestic battery and possession of a controlled substance.

Jared Gilbert, 24, Clay City, was booked at 1:24 a.m. Saturday for probation violation.

Benjamin Robinson, 19, Ellettsville, was booked at 3:54 a.m. Saturday for possession of alcohol by a minor and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Cory Bowles, 20, Ellettsville, was booked at 4:15 a.m. Saturday for possession of alcohol by a minor.

Michael Davis, 20, Cloverdale, was booked at 10:47 a.m. Saturday for trafficking with an inmate, theft and burglary.

Damon Miller, 31, Greencastle, was booked at 9:53 p.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while suspended and probation violation.

Anthony Alamo, 21, Greencastle, was booked at 12:28 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication and probation violation.

Hugo Durand, 19, Greencastle, was booked at 3:20 a.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, public intoxication and possession of alcohol by a minor.

John Brickson, 20, Greencastle, was booked at 3:39 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication and possession of alcohol by a minor.

Deborah Matthews, 53, Indianapolis, was booked at 10:50 p.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Kenneth Pardue, 62, Staunton, was booked at 4:30 p.m. Monday for theft.

Dean Sisk, 50, Cloverdale, was booked at 8 p.m. Monday for public intoxication.

Michael Davis, 29, Crawfordsville, was booked at 8:38 p.m. Monday for non-support of a child.

Guillermo Herrera, 39, Indianapolis, was booked at 9:12 p.m. Monday for failure to appear.

Jennifer Shuck, 25, Greencastle, was booked at 4:02 a.m. Tuesday for operating while intoxicated.

Eric Kortz, 26, Greencastle, was booked at 11:11 a.m. Tuesday for probation violation.

William Stewart, 50, Greencastle, was booked at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday for public intoxication.

Sheriff's Department

Stanley McBride, Russellville, was traveling south on U.S. 231 at 6:20 a.m. Monday when a mule owned by James Clark, Stilesville, ran into the side of McBride's vehicle causing the windshield and side window to break. There was $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Timothy Hundsrucker, Vulcan, Mich., was traveling north on U.S. 231 at 8:05 a.m. Sunday when a deer ran into the path of his vehicle. The owner had the vehicle towed from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Dorothy Jones, Rockville, was traveling south on U.S. 231 at 6:20 a.m. Sunday when a deer ran into the path of her vehicle. There was damage to the right, front side of Jones' vehicle. Damage was estimated at $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Brittany Wright, Roachdale, was traveling east on Interstate 70 at 7:15 a.m. Friday when a semi-trailer swerved into the right lane, hitting Wright's vehicle. Her vehicle struck a guardrail. There was damage to the front and driver's door of the vehicle. Wright stated both vehicles exited the interstate at Exit 41, but the semi driver did not stop. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Melissa Hall, Greencastle, was traveling south on C.R. 650W at 10:20 a.m. Sunday when she turned her attention to her child in the backseat. The vehicle hit the right side embankment, went over the embankment and into a creek. Kenny's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $5,000 to $10,000 in damages.
