GMS drops pair to North Clay

The Greencastle eighth grade girls' basketball A and B-teams competed against North Clay Thursday. The A-team fell 40-24, while the B-team lost 23-10.

Rayleigh Amis led the way for the A-team with 14 points, followed by Rebecca Sampson with four and Christy Miller with one point.

In B-team action, Carrissa Johnson was the Tiger Cubs' leading scorer with five points, with Kayla Chadd and Olivia Hoagland adding two points and Kayla Cash chipped in one point.

Greencastle will host the Putnam County Tournament Tuesday at 6 p.m.
