Cloverdale Town Clerk Patti Truax, left, and deputy clerk Elaine Campbell, right, said goodbye to their co-worker Myrna Sutherlin Friday with a reception at Town Hall. Sutherlin celebrated her last day of work with family, friends and a few customers. She has been Cloverdale's utility clerk since March 17, 1976. Sutherlin's career has spanned eight town boards and seven town clerks. During her reception, Sutherlin was presented an appreciation plaque for her 33 years of service along with a watch. "Today is the first day of the rest of my life," said Sutherlin of her retirement.
