Amy E. Insley

Amy E. Insley, 76, of Rockville died Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

She was born Jan. 11, 1933 in Greencastle, the daughter of Frank Saathoff and Margaret St. Clair Saathoff. She graduated from Greencastle High School in 1951. She married Paul T. Insley on Oct. 15, 1955, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 2008.

Mrs. Insley managed Insley Pharmacy Gift Shop for 23 years. She was a member of Rockville United Methodist Church, Tri Kappa, woman's club and various bridge clubs.

She is survived by two daughters, Paula Insley Miller and husband Steven of Chicago and Kathyleen Insley Hawkins and husband Joseph of Rockville; son Paul Tracy Insley III and wife Mary of Rockville; six granddaughters; two sisters, Ruby Black and Betty Stewart, both of Greencastle; and one brother, Charles Saathoff of Greencastle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother Russell Saathoff.

Per her wishes, cremation was chosen. Private burial will be at a later date at Memory Garden Cemetery.

Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Butler Funeral Home, 218 N. College St., Rockville.
