Cougars defeat Eels in five

EMINENCE -- The Lady Cougars picked up another win Thursday night as they crushed Eminence, 20-0.

The Lady Cougars scored 11 runs in the first, two in the second, five in the third, and two in the fourth, all on seven hits.

Taylor Judy led the Cougars hit parade with two hits, including a grand slam while Dakota Malayer and Leah Crosby had two hits also. Elsiana Crosby had the other hit for North Putnam.

Judy went the distance for the Lady Cougars, fanning 10 batters while giving up two hits.

North Putnam is back in action on Monday when they travel to Speedway for a 5 p.m. WCC clash.
