NAACP hosts 45th Freedom Fund Dinner

The NAACP of Greencastle will host its 45th Annual Freedom Fund Dinner on Wednesday, April 22 at 6 p.m. at Gobin United Methodist Church. The topic this year is "Building Coalitions Across Religious and Ethnic Communities."

The organization extends an invitation to all and would especially like to have students participate in this event

The evening's keynote speaker, Dr. Louay Safi, executive director of the Leadership Development Center at the Islamic Society of North America, will present on this topic and will participate in a Q&A session with DePauw senior Olivia Mote, religious studies and political science double major.

Tickets are $10 for students and senior citizens and $20 for adults. Proceeds will go to NAACP-sponsored programs and initiatives for the upcoming year including the Historically Black College Tour for local high school students.
