Monrovia outlasts South Putnam

The South Putnam boys' track team fell to Monrovia 78-68 Thursday night.

The Eagles had a trio of athletes who scored two wins each on night, while one relay was victorious.

Dayne Nelson won the 100 in a time of 11.83 and the pole vault with a height of 6-feet-6-inches, while Adam Masters won the shot put with a throw of 44-feet-1-inch and the discus with a toss of 131-feet-4.5-inches. Chris Smiley took both hurdle events, winning the 300 meter hurdles in a time of 18.46 and the 300 hurdles with a time of 46.45.

The 3,200 meter relay team won with a time of 10:48.77
